Married Alva sometime between 1920-1930.

Alva died in 1935 and her death certificate shows Henry as a spouse, but lists her as divorced. They must have divorced sometime between the 1930 Census, and the date of her death in 1935. She is buried in Llano Cemetery as Alva Cecil Martyr.

HENRY C. PARKS
Henry C. Parks, 78, of 311 East 4th St., died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday. He was a retired shipyard worker and had lived in Texarkana about four months after moving here from Pacific Grove, Calif. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Pacific Grove. Mr. Parks is survived by his wife, Edith E. Parks; one brother, J.T. Parks, of Texarkana; one sister, Nancy Alice Mathews of San Bernardino, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.The body will remain at the East Funeral Home until completion.

Funeral services for Henry C. Parks, 78, of 311 East 4th Street, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the East Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W.H. Hinsley, retired Baptist minister of Hot Springs, officiating. Pallbearers will be Worth C. Gibson, Jr., Guy A Hughes, Sam H. Ball, Jr., Ernest Autrey, A.P. Pharr, Jr., and W.J. Parks. Mr.Parks died at 1:10 p.m. Thursday. He was a retired shipyard worker and had lived in Texarkana about four months after moving here from Pacific Grove, Calif.
