Henry C. Parks, 78, of 311 East 4th St., died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday. He was a retired shipyard worker and had lived in Texarkana about four months after moving here from Pacific Grove, Calif. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Pacific Grove. Mr. Parks is survived by his wife, Edith E. Parks; one brother, J.T. Parks, of Texarkana; one sister, Nancy Alice Mathews of San Bernardino, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.The body will remain at the East Funeral Home until completion.
