    • Hi Laura, thank you for leaving a comment. I’m so sorry for you loss. Everything I have heard about Botchie has always been good. Hayley is my cousin. Her mother and my father are 1st cousins and grew up together.

      • HI Susie I just received this message. Sorry for the late response. Thank you for clarifying this to me. I thought you may be a long lost sister. 🙂

  2. Is this OCSmith the same Shuggy Smith that ran the Shuggys bar on 67 east in Texarkana and wasn’t he the suggy smith that wrote Little Green Apples?
I keep getting arguments that a black man wrote and sang Little Green Apples. Shuggy or (suggy) that ran the bar told me personally that he wrote and sang it. I loved Suggy I am the Ronnie Ponder that used to run the bar that Coke Cox had (Nip and Sip) on east broad. please reply Thanks Ronnie P U can find me on facebook my other email is ponders1010@windstream.net… I’m not sure which I used to sign up for facebook
